Perfect Strangers

Perfect Strangers, to me at least, remains one of if not the best example of a goofy sitcom. Plenty of shows influenced it, like The Odd Couple, but  Balki and cousin Larry were unique in their approach. They were both positive, happy guys with their own neurotic weaknesses. The show really relied on their performances. An entire episode could go by and they’d never leave the living room of their apartment. It’s a very simple premise and a lot of fun to parody. So for the series debut of Grim & Saddam I figured, why not do it right and open up with a Perfect Strangers style montage?
